Highway Wrestling is excited to have Golden Gopher wrestler Tyler Wells leading our Spring Freestyle & Greco and Fall
Pre-season sessions!

Tyler is no stranger to Highway, he trained with us during his early career, and now he's back to help wrestlers sharpen their skills and prepare for the upcoming season.
​
A name that speaks for itself, Tyler is a 4X Minnesota State Champion, Freestyle World Gold Medalist, and closed out his high school career with an incredible 161-1 record.
His experience and expertise make him an outstanding mentor for wrestlers looking to take their performance to the next level.

Summer Folkstyle Coach:
Kyle Boeke
Augustana Wrestling
Highway Wrestling is proud to welcome back Kyle Boeke to coach our Summer Folkstyle Session! After a successful experience last year, both wrestlers and parents are eager for another season of top-tier instruction under his guidance.​
​
Kyle’s wrestling credentials speak for themselves, he’s a Princeton (MN) alum, Augustana University wrestler, Minnesota All-State competitor, All-American, and USA Wrestling Greco National Finalist.
Beyond his success on the mat, Kyle has a passion for developing young wrestlers. With over five years of coaching experience, he works closely with a youth wrestling program in Sioux Falls, SD, helping athletes build strong fundamentals and confidence in their skills.

Kyle brings the perfect balance of technical expertise and mentorship to the room, making this summer an incredible opportunity for wrestlers of all levels.​

Phil Meinert
Minnesota Gophers Alumni
Phil Meinert brings a wealth of experience to Highway Wrestling, both as a competitor and a coach.
A former Minnesota Gopher, he was part of the 2007 NCAA Championship team, training alongside some of the best wrestlers in the country.
His competitive achievements include being an All-State wrestler for Princeton High School, a Freestyle and Greco-Roman All-American, and a 2006 Greco World Team Alternate.

Beyond his time on the mat, he has dedicated years to coaching, helping wrestlers refine their skills at J Robinson Intensive and Technique Camps and working with athletes at the high school level.
His deep knowledge of both folkstyle and international styles makes him a valuable asset to our coaching staff.
